Our puppies are in good health at the time of sale, otherwise we would not release any of them to a buyer.
Questions can come up, concerning future health issues.
THE FIRST 72 HOURS WITH YOU
If the puppy dies within the first 72 hours of them being with you, we give you a full refund. (That does not include shipping costs, nor any other expenses.) The refund is based on the health of the puppy, not any accidents. If the puppy dies within the first 72 hours with you, you are required to provide complete written documentation from your DVM to my DVM, stating the time and date of death, the cause, and complete set of facts surrounding the death.
THE FIRST YEAR
If the puppy dies within the first year of life, from a genetic disease tested for in the parents,!you are required to provide complete written documentation from your DVM to my DVM, stating the date of cause, cause of death, and the specific genetic condition causing death.
By agreement, a new “replacement puppy” of the same breed and gender will be provided at the earliest availability. Shipping and expenses will not by included.
If the “replacement puppy” comes into ill health, due to a genetic disease, within one year of the date of sale, after receiving complete written documentation from your “Second Opinion DVM”, we will take back the puppy and refund you 100% of the purchase price. However, you will not get a refund and be able to also keep the “replacement puppy”.
We will not pay for any vet bills you incur. All vet bills are to be paid, out of your own pocket, at your own discretion, and under the ethics of your own chosen DVM.
Your puppy must be seen within five business days of the health issue onset date, for this warranty to be applied.
We give no refund if your puppy eats any hazardous plants, food, objects, medicine, poisons, gets hit by any vehicle, or runs away.
The replacement of the puppy only occurs if the puppy dies from a covered DNA disease.
ADDITIONAL HEALTH ISSUES
Our health guarantee agreement, does not cover any parasites or worms. [ Those are very common. Also, the puppy has been regularly de-wormed. ]
We do not cover potential problems associated with under-bites/overbites. If your puppy has an under-bite/overbite, you accept to buy the puppy “as is” at time of sale. It is agreed, some bites can become worse or improve with age or maturity.
We give no guarantee on coat color, coat type, or quality, as coats may or may not change as the puppy ages/matures.
We do not cover surgery related to umbilical hernias. The buyer agrees you accept to buy the puppy “as is” at time of sale, and, to provide veterinary care within this first year, including annual heart worm checks, monthly heartworm pills or shots as preventatives, and to keep vaccinations current.
Failure to comply with and provide documentation of the above requirements voids this warranty. Hypoglycemic shock and death is covered within 72 hours after leaving our premises. If your puppy were to die as a result of hypoglycemic issues within 72 hours, we will refund the purchase price of the puppy, but no delivery costs. Vet bills treating this condition are not covered.
Again, the health guarantee agreement covers only DNA health issue(s), that caused death to the puppy.
